Services for Adene King, 94, of Grand Saline, were held Oct. 29, 2015, at the Eubank Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Daniell officiating.  Interment was in the Creagleville Cemetery.

Mrs. King died Oct. 25, 2015, in Mansfield.  She was born April 15, 1921, in Grand Saline to Benjamin Ethan and Hattie Lee Burrow Herron.  She grew up in Van Zandt County. 

She married Lovered King in 1940.  They lived in Mesquite from 1945 to 1972 when they moved to the Lawrence Springs Community near Grand Saline.  She was a member of the Lawrence Springs Baptist Church. 

Mrs. King is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arlie Lovered King; and eight brothers and sisters. 

She is survived by her daughter, Patsy and Bob Wilson of Mansfield; three sons, Jerry and Carol King of Midlothian, Gary and Karen King of Frisco, and Mike and Elizabeth King of Crowley; 10 grandchildren, Christopher Wilson, Jennifer Petter, Lynn Williams, Jeffery King, Jeremy King, Heather King, Steven King, David King, Natalie Tovar, and Ethan Tovar; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Iva Dee Smith of Longview; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Jeremy King, Chris Wilson, Steven King, David King, Ethan Tovar and Matt Hendrix.
