Services for Frances Sue Anderson, 78, of Canton were held Nov. 3, 2015, at Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton with Bro. Mike Roberson officiating.

Interment was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Anderson died Friday, Oct. 30, 2015, in Canton.

She was born Aug, 6, 1937, in Nacogdoches to George W. and Marguerite Colwell.

She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Canton for 43 years where she taught Sunday School for 38 years. She also taught school for 25 years.

She enjoyed music, gardening, traveling and reading, especially the Bible which she read multiple times.  She was known for sending cards and notes of encouragement to others. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother. 

Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband, Glenn Anderson; son, Glenn and Debbie Anderson Jr. of Frisco; daughter, Angie and David Barber of Canton; granddaughter, Jillian Barber of Canton; granddaughter, Kate Anderson of Frisco; and grandson, Cole Anderson of Frisco.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers were the deacons of the First Baptist Church.
