Services for Linda Christine Kimerer, 56, of Mesquite, were held Oct. 27, 2015, at Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton with Bro. Steve Glosup officiating.

Mrs. Kimerer died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, in Mesquite. She was born Sept. 14, 1959, in Dallas, to William H. and Delores Lang Berry.

She grew up in Platte City, Mo. She worked as a nurse in the medical field her entire life.  She was a collector of antiques, glassware and elephants.

Linda enjoyed camping and floating the river. She also loved cooking and taking care of others. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and treasured spending quality time with her family.

Mrs. Kimerer is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Amber Barber of Watauga; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Carrie Barber of Mesquite; grandchildren, Haley, Tyler, Timmy, Breanna, Rain, Rachelle, Kyliah and Kendyle; mother, Dolores McDonnell of Platte City, Mo.; sister, Annette Clark; brother, Roddy Berry; sister, Susan Bloomberg and brother, Tim Berry.

She is preceded in death by her father, W.H. Berry.
