Services for Tim Ellis, 62, of Canton, were held June 17, 2016, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro. Mark Robinson and Bro. Ronnie Daniell officiating. 

Interment was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton.

Mr. Ellis died June 13, 2016, in Tyler.

He was born  Oct. 28, 1953, in Waxahachie to Gilbert and Jewell Trull Ellis.

He grew up in Waxahachie where he attended school. He was the Past Master and life-long member of Castillian Masonic Lodge #141 for 27 years. His gas station was the center point of the community for 30 years. He loved visiting with travelers and friends as well as dancing, singing and playing bass for High Spirits.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Johnny Ellis.

He is survived by his wife, Terri T. Ellis of Canton; daughter, Jennifer and Patrick Terrell of Canton; daughter, Jessica and Stephen DeVille of Canton; daughter, Shonda Sandoval of Canton; daughter, Tori and Spencer Metcalf of Denton; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Gilbert Ellis Jr.; brother, Carey Ellis; and sister, Gloria Spence.
