Billy Paul Hindman, 86, of Granbury died Thursday, June 9, 2016, in Granbury.  Funeral service was held Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.  Interment was Monday, June 13, 2016, in Small Cemetery in Edgewood.

Mr. Hindman was born March 11, 1930, in Edgewood to Ira and Nancy Hindman.  He had lived in Granbury since 1974 and built homes in and around Granbury.  He was a Hella Shriner for 50 years, a member of Edgewood Lodge, Scottish Rite and the masonic Lodge.  He enjoyed golf, fishing and hunting.  He attended Acton Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, R.C. Hindman and L.V. Hindman Jr. and sister, Inez Fisher.

He is survived by his wife, Verdine Hindman of Granbury; son, Ricky Hindman of Granbury; brother, Frank Hindman of Edgewood; sister, Maybell Robertson and husband, James of Edgewood; and several nieces and nephews.
