Memorial services for Alice Chambless, 56, of Canton, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Canton with Pastor Mike Roberson officiating. 

Mrs. Chambless passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, in Tyler. 

 She was born April 17, 1960, in Sheridan, Wyo. to Howard Dewain and Nola May Budd Benjamin. 

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Canton. She married Tommy Chambless on Oct. 26, 1990.  She enjoyed her grandchildren and the simple pleasures in life.  She especially loved the Christmas holidays.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jim.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy Chambless of Canton; her daughter, Amanda Roberts and husband, Herbert, of Canton; son, Dustin Geahlen of Ohio.; five grandchildren; brothers, Dennis and Benji; and sisters, Diane, Sue, Dorothy and Linda.
