WFD to hold cook-off, auction

The Whitton Fire Department to host its annual chili cook-off and dessert auction at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12.
The menu includes chili with all the fixings, dessert and a drink for a donation. The contest is open to the public. Prizes will be given away for the winning chili and the dessert that sells for most at auction. All donations go towards fire department operating costs, organizers said.
