Services for J.L. Stout, 97, of Canton were held Monday June 26, 2017, at Eubank Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Glosup officiating. Interment followed at Haven of Memories Memorial Park.

Mr. Stout passed away June 23, 2017, in Canton.

He was born on March 24, 1920, in Canton to Connie Lee and Lois Cash Stout.

He retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed farming, ranching, and gardening.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mildred Oneta Stout; son, James Larry Stout; brothers, Otis Stout and Bobby Stout; sisters, Anna Faye Norrell and Ruth Abbott.

Survivors include his sons, Calvin Lee and JoAnn Stout and Jessie and Judy Stout; grandchildren, Tuesday Fulkerson and Mike, Clifton Stout, Kalei Stout, Cheryl and Ken Cooper, Christopher and Jennifer Stout; great grandchildren, Johnna Ishmael and Tyler, Clayton Fulkerson, Tanner and Morgan Cooper, Layden Stout, Zang Stout and Cole Stout; and daughter-in-law, Gail Stout.
