Services for Dorothy Williams Webster, 83, of Fruitvale, were held Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, at Eastridge Baptist Church in Red Oak with Bro. Jack Ables officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.  Interment followed in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas.
Mrs. Webster passed away Dec. 27, 2016, in Fruitvale.  She was born Jan. 10, 1933, in Nashville, Ark.

Mario F. Malacara was born March 30, 1953, in San Antonio, to Jesus C. Malacara and Maria de Jesus Ibarra “Susy”, and passed away Dec. 3, 2016, in Plano.

He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1971, and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University of North Texas in 1975.   

He is survived by his wife of over 24 years, Myra Malacara of Plano; three children who love him dearly, Christy Gammill of Dallas, Jason Adamcik of Allen, and Stephanie Fine of Dallas; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Josie Malacara of Austin, Johnny Malacara of San Antonio, Guadalupe Ontiveros of San Antonio, Javier Malacara of Austin and Blanca Blanchard of Fort Worth.

Linda Janett Green of Martins Mill passed away on Dec. 6, 2016, in Tyler due to a brain aneurism and stroke.

Mrs. Green was born on March 8, 1944, in Athens to W.B. and Christine Hawkins Hale.  She was a cosmetologist, a talented seamstress, and an avid quilter.  She was also a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She loved her family more than anything on earth.  She was devoted to her husband, Sherrell, throughout their marriage and through his disablement with Parkinson's disease.  She spent her life loving, serving, and giving of herself and her resources to her children and grandchildren.

She was known for her compassionate, selfless and giving nature.

Coys Carl Casey departed his earthly life on Dec. 18, 2016, in Canton. He had an enormous heart and always had time to help anyone in need.  He was, and will remain, a faithful servant of God who dedicated his life to God’s word and inspired others in their walk with the Lord. 

He was born May 27, 1927, in New Caney to Jesse Reed Casey and Ruth Arrendell Casey.  His mother died when he was an infant and his grandparents raised him in the Casey Ridge area of New Caney.  He attended East River Baptist Church, where he made a profession of faith in Christ at an early age.  During his life, he served as a Southern Baptist Deacon for 68 years. He was a founding member of numerous Southern Baptist churches and a dedicated member of Baptist churches in Bayside, Rockport, Cuero, Hallsville, Shelbyville, Belton, Tyler and Canton.

Mrs. Shirley Addicks, 79, passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.

She was born Sep. 24, 1934, in Farmersville, to Edmond and Cora Bess Smith McCoy.

She married Roy E. Addicks Sr., April 12, 1956. She was retired from Texas Instruments in Dallas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Marion Ray McCoy.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Addicks of Canton; sons, Roy Jr. of Beeville, Michael Addicks of Longview, and David Addicks and wife, Debbie of New Caney; grandchildren, Shirley Ann, Albert, Christine, John, Michael, Edmond and Angelia, Emily and Hunter; and sister-in-law, Josephine McCoy.

May she rest in peace and suffer no more.

Services for Gaines Ted Huson, Jr., 49, of Van, were held Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton, with Bro. Donnie Herring officiating.

Interment followed in Prairie Springs Cemetery in Ben Wheeler.

Mr. Huson passed away at his home Dec. 7, 2016.  He was born Feb. 24, 1967, in Houma, La. to Gaines Ted Huson Sr. and Jane Catherine Babin Huson. 

He served two years in the Army. He had worked at the Walmart Distribution Center for the past 15 years.  He enjoyed going kayaking with his son, fishing and spending time outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandmother, Lola Fike; and his uncle Chucky.

Services for Dorothy Marie McWilliams, 86, of Canton, were held Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at Eubank Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Glosup officiating.

Interment followed at Cool Springs Cemetery.

She passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, in Canton.

She was born Nov. 3, 1930, in Ben Wheeler to Marcus Huddle and Rena Alexander Huddle.

She grew up in Ben Wheeler and graduated from Van High School. She received her nursing degree from Henderson County Community College and graduated valedictorian of her class. She loved gardening, sewing, birds, and cooking. She was a devoted wife and mother who was very involved in PTA and church functions. She was a member of Tundra Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Truet Huddle, Ray Huddle, and Loyd Huddle.

Funeral services for Merle “Chow” Highland, 79, of Hideaway, Ts were held Oct. 31, 2016 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, with the Rev. Bruce Rudd officiating.  Mr. Highland died Oct. 28, 2016, in a Lindale nursing center. 

He was born in Kenton, Ohio on Nov. 17, 1936, to the late Glen H. and Nettie E. (Van Sky) Highland and was formerly of Ohio and Indiana as well as Dallas, Houston, Kingwood and Columbia Lakes, Texas before moving to Hideaway over 10 years ago.
