Noses and excuses
I Googled the word EXCUSE and Google failed me. An excuse is a big fat fib. It is a lie. We say we are going to do something and do not do it. We justify bad performance by creative fibbing. The devil made me do it. I was drunk and innocent. I was crazy at the time.  Excuses are a bad thing.

I use my nose to smell things and to breathe through when I walk with my mouth closed. I love the smells. If something smells bad, my nose puts me on notice to become aware of what to look for or get away from.  Skunks come to mind. Dog doo doo is another unpleasant smell that requires attention. Mothers have a very keen sense of smell and fathers use “selective smelling.” Noses are a good thing.

That is our own personal daily responsibility. Each one of us can stop obesity in its tracks. It is that simple.
