Services for Bryant Travis Foster, 77, of Brownsboro, are scheduled for 4 p.m. Oct. 1, 2015, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, with Bro. Tom Bragdon officiating. Interment will be in Rock Hill Cemetery.
He passed away Sept. 27, 2015, in Tyler.
Travis Foster was born on Feb. 15, 1938, to Marcus and Mary Mills Foster.
He was a member of Leagueville Baptist in Murchison. He was married 35 years to his precious wife Judy.
He was a very good carpenter, he did amazing wood work. He enjoyed doing honey-do jobs for his wife. He loved his kids and making things for them. He planted and gardened from seed. He loved his dog Princess. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as an electrician and started his own business in Canton. Later he went to work for the Brownsboro School in 1980 as supervisor of custodian, maintenance, and transportation. Eventually he worked his way up to become the maintenance director.
Mr. Foster is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kendra Foster; and sister, Jean Dove.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Foster of Brownsboro; daughter, Dorothy Foster of Mabank; daughter, Julie and Gary Flynn of Brownsboro; daughter, April and Jason Mitchell of Keller; son, Zane and Stephanie Ballard of Brownsboro; brother, Bill and Betty Foster of Kyle; brother, Jo Mark and Kim Foster of Rockwall; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
