Services for Carolyn “Kacky” Carroll Owens, 74, of Fruitvale, were held Nov. 24, 2015, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, with Bro. Carl McCann officiating.  

Interment will be in Haven of Memories Memorial Park.  Interment was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park.

She died Nov. 21, 2015, in Grand Saline.            

She was born Aug. 28, 1941, in Kemp, Okla. to Lowell and Jo Emma Bone.

She was a member of the Church of Christ, The Eastern Star and the Fruitvale ISD School Board. She worked as an abstractor for over 25 years. She loved reading and crocheting. She was a softball fan who loved watching her grandchildren play sports.

She is preceded in death by her parents; stepdad, Kenneth Roach; brother, Dyer Bone; previous husband, Jeff Carroll; grandson, Jeff Thomas Intlehouse; nephew, Kerry Lewis; brother-in-law, Joe Ritchie; and numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives.

She is survived by her husband, Don Owens of Fruitvale; daughter, Lori and John Campbell of Fruitvale; daughter, Tina and Donny Koonce of Fruitvale; four grandchildren, Keisha Campbell, Kasey Campbell, Jody Intlehouse and Jennifer Koonce White; four great-grandchildren, LuLu Campbell, Jaxon Intlehouse, Kaylie Intelhouse and Sawyer White; sister, Jan Ritchie of Crandall; stepdaughter, Donnetta Ceal and family; and stepson, Jimmy Owens and family.

Pallbearers were Lathe Owens, Gerald Sizemore, Ricky Campbell, Wiley Stone, Jody Intlehouse and Bryan McGlothlin.
