Sweetmans celebrate 65 years

Raymond and Betty Sweetman
Raymond and Betty Sweetman, of Canton, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Feb. 10.
The couple was married Feb. 10, 1951 in Dallas. They lived in Dallas and Houston before locating to Canton.
Mr. Sweetman worked for Sears for 38 years and Mrs. Sweetman was an accountant.
They were owners and operators of Real Deal Outlet when located on Highway 19 in Canton.
Mr. and Mrs. Sweetman are members of First Baptist Church of Canton.
They have two children, Steve and Andrea Sweetman of Garland and Leisha and Greg Mattingly of Garland. They have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
They will celebrate their 65th anniversary by taking a three weeklong cruise to the southern Caribbean visiting 13 islands.
