Chamber hold monthly membership mixer
The Canton Texas Chamber of Commerce held their February Membership Mixer on Feb. 18 at the newly remodeled City Hall located at 290 E. Tyler St. in Canton. This month’s mixer was hosted by the city of Canton and Traditions Restaurant and Catering in Tyler.
With over 50 in attendance, members took advantage of the opportunity to network and learn more about the chamber of commerce and upcoming events.
City of Canton Mayor LouAnn Everett welcomed everyone to the recently remodeled Old City Hall. Everett encouraged everyone to explore the new meeting area, kitchen and conference room.
Christie O’Neill with Traditions Restaurant and Catering thanked everyone for attending and for allowing them to cater the event. O’Neill said “We are proud to be active members of the Canton Chamber and look forward to helping people in the Canton area with their catering needs.” She also added, “Traditions has been in business serving this region for over 15 years and are very proud of the quality of food and service we offer.”
CTCC Office Administrator Laura Mendoza provided the group with information on upcoming events including the Annual Community Awards Dinner at 6 p.m. on April 21 at the Canton Civic Center and the first quarterly AM Connections meeting at 7 a.m. on March 3rd at Subway.
