A tree grows in Canton

Two trees – one live oak and one red oak -- were donated to the city of Canton by Canton Oaks.  The trees were planted by the playground at the park on Old Kaufman Road. Taking part in the tree planting event on Earth Day were, from left, Loyce Ferrell, Bobbie Hix, Canton Oaks Activities Director Darrian Peele Maintenance Crew Bobby Ross, Mayor Lou Ann Everett; Nurse Denni Sikes residents Allene McKeown (in front of tree) and Ellie Sliester and Activities Director Judy Clements.
