Burial followed at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. She passed away Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, in Grapevine.

She was born in Santa Clarita, Calif. to Martin Ray and Sherly Ann Shields Graves on Sept. 27, 1993. She spent her early years in California until her family moved to Grapevine when she was 12.

In high school, she enjoyed being part of the choir at Grapevine Faith Christian High School and performed with them on the stage of Carnegie Hall on two different occasions.

She was a talented amateur photographer.

She loved dogs, fishing, camping, mountains, spending time with friends, reading and card games, especially Shanghai. Yellowstone National Park was another love of Anne’s. She spent three summers there and especially loved watching the wolves. She was blessed by being part of two mission trips with her church to the Amazon River in Brazil. She was deeply loved by both family and friends alike.

She is survived by her parents, Martin and Sherly Graves of Grapevine; brother, Andrew Graves of College Station; her sister, Ashley Graves of Grapevine; paternal grandparents, Carroll and Percilla Graves of Prosper; maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Zura Shields of Canton; and a host of friends and family.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorials in Anne’s memory can be made to the Coppell Bible Fellowship Amazon Mission Fund (http://www.coppellbible.org/next-steps/online_giving).
