John W. West passed away Oct. 18, 2016. He was a veteran of WWII and had served in the navy and the army.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leota R. West of Canton; son, John West Jr. of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and daughter, Gloria Jean of Houston.
He is survived by daughter, Lois Cupit of Canton; grandchildren, Jason Cupit, Kevin Cupit, Danielle Estes, James West, and William West; great-grandchildren, Jacob Graham, Vanessa Graham, Emily Zoe Graham, Aiydin West, and Brycen West; brothers, Paul West of Grand Prairie, and Dennie West of Canton.
No funeral service was held at his request.
