Who’s your one?

Facing so many needs today, it is hard to know who to help or where to start. Do I help cancer victims, the hungry, the homeless, an abused woman’s shelter? For the most part, Americans are a generous people but it is hard to know how to help or where our help is needed most. The question you may have faced is, “who do I help?” Jesus obviously met people on a daily basis. However, He seemed to have adopted the following philosophy for choosing who to help: “Do for one what you wish you could do for everyone!” When you see the woman at the well, Zaccheaus, or the Good Samaritan, you find Jesus helping, often one person at a time.
