Texas Bank & Trust damaged by fire

An investigation is currently underway as to the cause of an early evening fi re May 1 that heavily damaged the Texas Bank and Trust branch building in downtown Canton. About 6:30 p.m. May 1, the TB&T branch, located at 231 E. Tyler St., caught fire at the south end of the building. The remainder of the building sustained signifi cant smoke damage.
