Funeral services for Sherman Randle Jr., 61, of Edgewood, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Edgewood with the Rev. Shelton Oliver officiating. 

Interment will follow at Edgefield Cemetery in Edgewood under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

He passed away early Wednesday morning, May 13, 2015, at his residence in Edgewood. 

Sherman was born July 20, 1953, in Terrell, the son of Sherman Randle Sr. and Margaret Wiley Randle.  He was a lifelong resident of Edgewood and in 1971, he graduated from Edgewood High School. 

On Aug. 25, 1973, he married Helen Reese in Edgewood.  Sherman was employed by Wolfe Distributing Company in Terrell, retiring in 1990.  He enjoyed working in the yard and planting flowers.  Sherman was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Edgewood. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman Randle Sr. and Margaret Randle; son, Ricky Milton; and his grandmother, Johnnie Mae Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Randle, of Edgewood; son, Vancarlus Tennison and wife Nitzi of Cedar Hill; daughters, Shemeka Randle of Edgewood and Marquita Prince and husband, Khristopher of Ft. Polk, La.; daughter-in-law, Yvonne Milton of Edgewood; brothers, Kenneth Randle and wife Dorothy of Edgewood, and Michael Randle of Edgewood; sisters, Dorothy Nell Randle and LaRuth Dixon and husband, Barney all of Edgewood; grandchildren, Malcom Tennison, Gabriel Milton, Jaylen Milton,Braxton Tennison, Jordan Prince, Khrisalynn Prince and Myah Milton

Pallbearers were Nolan Spencer, Billy Ray Randle, Wesley Govan, Dewayne Smith, Kenneth Randle, Jr., Mitchell Dixon, Kelton Milton, Kevin Paul, Kenneth Randle, Sr., Barney Dixon, Cecil Randle, John Clay and Robert Clay.      

Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service.
