Children on parade for Fourth

Children can enter the Canton Chamber of Commerce Fourth of July parade being pulled in a wagon, riding a bike or being pushed in stroller.

Entry in the children’s portion of the parade is free. A parent or guardian must be present to sign the child in.

Chamber officials said the children will be at the back of the parade and will need to be in the line up area behind First United Methodist Church, 600 S. Buffalo St. at 6 p.m.

The parade route is about three-quarters of a mile long. The parade will travel north on Buffalo, turn right onto Dallas Street (Hwy. 64), right onto Capital Street and then disperse on Peace Street.
