Children’s shelter spokesman

The Rotary Club of Canton heard guest speaker Kerry Cartier from the Van Zandt Children's Shelter last week. The support of Van Zandt county citizens is important in meeting the needs of the foster children at the shelter, Cartier said. The shelter operates using a residential environment with foster parents who care for the children on a daily basis. Rotary President Karen Paul thanked Cartier for speaking to the club.
