Services for Daisy Eugenia Melton Parker, 91, of  Tyler, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at the Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton,  with Bro. Steve Glosup officiating. Burial will be in Haven of Memories in Canton.

Mrs. Parker passed away Monday, Aug. 10, 2015, in Tyler. She was born June 24, 1924, in the Jackson Community to William and Leona Tucker Melton.

Daisy was married to her faithful husband, Clifton, on March 18, 1944, in Kaufman. They were married for 59 years until his death. She was a great cook, enjoyed traveling and camping. She loved her family, especially, her grandchildren.  Daisy loved her Lord, and she was a faithful servant and member of Tundra Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Parker is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Clifton Parker; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Linda Parker; brother and sister-in-law, Virgil and Shirley Melton; brother, Joe Vern Melton; brother-in-law, Billy Jacobs; sister-in-law, Dorothy Melton and nephew, Brent Melton.

Daisy is survived by her daughter, Glee Parker Hutson of Tyler; granddaughter and husband, LeAnn and Jason Harris of Mabank; granddaughter and husband, Nancy and Kirk Weaver of Lake George, Colo.; granddaughter and husband, Susan and Johnny Worley of Kaufman; granddaughter and husband, Julie and Dennis Gilley of Lake George, Colo.; granddaughter and husband Tammy and Doug Daniel of Forney; grandson and wife, David and Liz Hutson of Tyler; grandson and wife, Drew and Jennifer Hutson of Tyler; great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Brennan, Tristan, Andrew, Parker and Raelee; Sister, Betty Jacobs of Bossier City, La.; sister and brother-in-law, JoAnn and James Watson and sister-in-law, Annie Lee Melton.

Pallbearers will be Virgil Melton Jr., Rand Melton, Tony Melton, Paul Melton, Kelly Melton, Steve Jacobs and Jerry Jacobs.

Visitation will be from 6 through 8 p.m. Friday Aug. 14 at the funeral home.
