Fifth grade supply list reprinted
In the Back-to-School Special Section, while the supply list for Canton Intermediate School’s fifth grade was correct, the heading was not. Fourth grade appeared twice. We apologize for the mistake and reprint the list here.
Fifth Grade
Wide ruled notebook paper (3 pkg.)
2 boxes of pencils (no mechanical)
1 pkg. of red pens
Map pencils, markers or crayons
Sharpie
2 Highlighters
6 Glue sticks
2 pair of pointed scissors
Ruler (with metric and customary)
Zipper Pencil Bag (no pencil boxes please)
5 plastic folders with brads
2 boxes of tissues
Lanyard for ID badge
1 single subject spiral
1 5-subject spiral
Fourth Grade
All supplies will need to be replaced as they are used throughout the year!
20 pencils (no mechanical)
Ruler-with Inches and Centimeters
12 white glue sticks
1 pair of pointed scissors
20 red pens or pencils (for grading)
2 large boxes of Kleenex
1-protractor
3 by 5 lined notecards (200 count)
1 spiral notebook-for Reading
Extra large zippered pencil bag (no boxes)
1 pkg. 8 dividers – with pockets
1 -1 inch binder – for writing
1 spiral notebook – for writing
1-3 subject spiral notebook with pockets -- for Science
Wide-ruled notebook paper (no college ruled)
1 pkg 24 count colored pencils
1 pkg 24 count of crayons
1 roll of duct tape (your favorite roll)
6 plastic folders with pockets and
brads (2 red, 2 blue, and 2 green) No paper folders
Please do not put names on the folders!
1 bottle hand sanitizer (girls only)
1 pkg. of gallon size bags (girls only)
1 bottle of hand soap (boys only)
1 pkg. of sandwich bags (boys only)
1 Lanyard for ID badge
Label all supplies except for folders
No rolling backpacks
Each teacher may request additional supplies
