Canton girl plays in Pony Tail World Series

Claire Cannon of Canton traveled to North Carolina last week to compete in the Pony Tail X Play Dixie League World Series.

Claire, the daughter of Donald and Chelsie Cannon, plays for the Bullard All Stars.

Claire tagged the winning out against Hopkins County in the Texas State Title game July 19. At the World Series competition held in Carthage, N.C., the Bullard team, representing Texas, won two and lost two. Out of the 10 teams, they lost to Tennessee then beat South Caroline and Virginia before falling to Alabama.
