Dr. Elaine Graybill

Services for Dr. Elaine Graybill, 77, of Plano, formerly of Canton, were held Thursday, Aug 20, 2015, at the Eubank Funeral Home in Canton.   Interment will be in Haven of Memories Memorial Park.

Dr. Graybill was born Oct. 17, 1937 in New Orleans, La. to the late William A. and Irma Larcade d’Entremont.  She passed away Aug. 16, 2015, in Plano.

Elaine was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Canton and numerous professional organizations related to foreign language arts. 

Dr. Graybill was an educator for 40 years at the University of Texas, Southwestern University at Georgetown and Tyler Junior College.  She was also a docent at the Tyler Museum of Art. 

Dr. Graybill touched and influenced many minds both young and old.  She never knew a stranger and was a kind, loving and caring mother and grandmother.  She was a selfless person and will be missed.

Dr. Graybill is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Angela Graybill of Plano; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Pete Gutierrez of Sigonella, Italy; three grandsons, Lucian Gutierrez, Brian Graybill and Cameron Graybill.
