Aug. 19, 3:43 p.m., 1-20 service Road at FM 859 – Traffic accident, no injuries.
Aug. 19, 5:22 p.m. – Forgery of financial instrument. A woman from Tyler reported to Canton Police that someone had stolen a check she had mailed to pay a bill and used the check to buy merchandise at a retail store in Canton. Reports indicate the suspect “washed” the check to remove the information filled in by the owner of the account. The suspect was described by the retailer as a 40-year-old white male about 5’11” tall with tattoos on both arms and legs.

Aug. 21, 6:59 p.m., East bound I-20 – Arrest: DWI – Thomas E. Quick, 63, Dallas.
Aug. 22, 12:47 a.m., Hwy. 19 and Hwy. 243 – Arrest: DWI – Robert J. Daniel, 34, Canton.
Aug. 23, 2:22 a.m., Hwy. 64 and Buffalo – Arrest: Manufacture or delivery of controlled substance pg 1>=4g<200g – Sean Palmer, 36, Ben Wheeler; Arrest: Manufacture or delivery of controlled substance pg 1>=4g<200g – Tawnya Reed, Terrell.
