1953-2015
Ricky Lynn Bing was born in Dallas County to Henry Ray and Billie Jo Richardson Bing March 9, 1953. Rick or “Bear” as he was known, passed away from his earthly home Aug. 24, 2015, at his home in Van Zandt County.
Bear lived his early life in the Balch Springs and Pleasant Grove area of Dallas and attended among others Dallas schools, H.D. Grady Spruce High School.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a machinist by trade. Rick was an electrician, plumber, carpenter and truck driver. There was not a job he would not try to master.
One of his best memories was riding motorcycles with his buddies. He loved bass fishing and he loved his dogs.
In the 1980s, Rick met Candy Lynn Hearn Honeycutt. He traded the love of motorcycles, bass fishing and his buddies for the love of his family. Candy and Bear were the parents to three children and two grandchildren, Heath, Ray, Catherine, Noah and Logan.
Rick is survived by his dear children, Henry Ray Bing and Heather of Mabank, Catherine Rose Bing and Kenny Wilson also of Mabank; his mother-in-law Freda Hearn of Forney; the most amazing grand-cubs; Logan-Steele Wilson (Booboo) and Noah Lynn Bing (Yogi); and all eight of his dogs.
Preceding him in death was his dear parents; wife, Candy; son, Heath; and grandparents, Henry O. and Della Bing of Edgewood.
