Services for Wilma Eunice Chamblee, 81, of Canton were held Sept. 14, 2015, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton.  Bro. Steve Glosup officiated. Interment was in Haven of Memories in Canton.

Mrs. Chamblee passed away Sept. 9, 2015, in Canton. 

Wilma Eunice Chamblee was born July 5, 1934, in Canton to Nolan Alexander and Mary Ethyl Smith Groom.

She was a member of Wallace United Methodist Church and Easter Star. She grew up in Canton and graduated from Canton High School at the age of 16. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and traveling.

Mrs. Chamblee was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, L.M. Lawley and Bob Chamblee; daughter, Lynna Lawley; brother, Marlin Groom and sisters, Hattie Gillispie, Alpha Lunsford and Margaret Taylor.

She is survived by her dog, Baby; son and his wife, Paul and Carol Lawley of Canton; son and his wife, Monty and Treon Lawley of Combine; grandchildren, Shane Lawley, Alisha Smith, Tanner Lawley, Keri Chandler, Lindy Lawley, James Johnson and L.M. Lawley; 21 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and wife, Jeff and Peggy Lawley; brother-in-law, Ray Lawley; sister, Edith Kirkland; sister and husband, Geneva and E.J. Sprague; and sister, Leona Wood.
