Whitton to hold fundraiser for Tarver Cemetery

Whitton Community Center will be having a bake sale and barbecue to benefit Tarver Cemetery at 5:30 p.m.  Saturday, Sept. 19.

The Whitton Community Center is located on FM 1651, four miles north of Jackson off Highway 198 or three miles east off of Highway 47.

Supper will be barbecue brisket, hot links, beans, potato salad, coleslaw, drinks and dessert all for a suggested donation of $10 for adults, and $5 for children 12 and under.

All proceeds go to the Tarver Cemetery in the Whitton Community for upkeep.
