A joyful heart is a gift from God
To all those who believe
We read His word to find the truth
His blessing to receive
A joyful heart we see each day
Old Satan cannot bother
He can tempt he has no power
Our safety is in the Father
All joy in heart is from Jesus
Who suffered on that old cross
He paid the price for all our sins
That we don’t suffer loss
We show joy from our heart daily
As a result of what he has done
We love Him and trust Him and believe Him
As the battle of life is on
