Two hundred people listen as country musician Wade Hayes talked about his career and recent cancer battle that sparked the title of his new album. The free concert was provided by Cedar Flats Inn, Canton. Parking was provided by Old Mill Marketplace.

More than 200 shoppers at The Mountain in Canton were treated to a free concert featuring country musician Wade Hayes Sept. 5.

Before the concert, some attendees shopped and dined; others watched as The Texicans performed their award winning gunfight show. Others simply enjoyed the hustle and bustle that makes The Mountain atmosphere magical, organizers said.

Hayes appeared at the outdoor venue midway up The Mountain at Cedar Flats Inn, singing some of the tear-inducing, family-friendly hits that put him at the top of the charts during the '90s such as "I'm Old Enough to Know Better" and "What I Meant to Say."  He also performed some of the songs from his new album titled “Go Live Your Life.”
