Memorial services for Amanda Kay Peden Reed were held Oct. 15, 2015, at Hilliard Funeral Home.

Amanda Reed was born Dec. 5, 1970, in Grand Saline and passed away at the age of 44 on Oct. 10, 2015, in Athens. 

She was a resident of Canton, formerly living in Grand Saline.  She was self-employed, working in the electrical business, and loved to travel in her free time.

Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her grandparents, L.J. and Dona Fisher and Willie and Vernie Peden.

She is survived by her husband, Joel Reed of Canton; two children, William Ethan Harris and Katie Elizabeth Harris, both of Grand Saline; three step-children, Vince Reed, Chelsea Reed and Tyson Reed, all of Canton; parents, Billy and Bobbie Peden of Grand Saline; brothers, Anthony Peden and Marty Peden, both of Tyler; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gerald and Tillie Reed of Canton; brother-in-law, Chris Reed of Canton; sister-in-law, Sherry Addison of Canton; and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
