Memorial services for Janice Wade, 66, of Grand Saline, were held Dec. 20, 2015, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Paul Stanley officiating.

Mrs. Wade died Dec. 17, 2015, in Tyler.  She was born May 12, 1949, in Ottumwa, Iowa to Carl Henry and Virginia Cravens Ask.  She was raised in Mineola, spent several years in Arlington and had been in Grand Saline since 1980.  She married Tommy Wade on May 19, 2001.  She worked as a supervisor for Morton Salt for 28 years. 

She was preceded in death by her mothers, Virginia Cravens Ask and Helen Louise McClure Ask; father, Carl Henry Ask; nephew, William Ross Collier and brother-in-law, Buzz Collier.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy Wade of Grand Saline; children and their spouses, Kristi and Paul Wheeler of Grand Saline, Brittany and David Bessonett of Grand Saline, Lance Caffey of Grand Saline, Melissa and Curt Fuller of Flower Mount, Lisa and Brian Means of Grand Saline, Abbi and Richard Keppler of Watertown, NY and Chad Wade of Tyler; three brothers and their spouses, Scott and Sue Smith of Carrollton, Jeff and Brenda Smith of San Antonio and John Ask of Athens; sister, Barbara Collier of Grand Saline; 13 grandchildren and one on the way; three great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Honorary pallbearers were Larry Gothard, Tim Null, Dylan Wheeler, Terry Wilson, Curt Fuller and Kirk Wade Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
