Jessie Barnett Boyd, 81, of Emory, died Jan. 14, 2016, at his home.

A memorial service was held Jan. 22, 2016, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory, Phyllis A. Young, Funeral Director officiating.

Mr. Boyd was born in Arlington, Tenn. May 4, 1934.
