Lone Star Gas Company To Pipe Canton With Natural Gas:  It is probable that the city of Canton will have natural gas before next winter.  Mr. Louis Hulcy, a representative of the Lone Star Gas Company and son of the president of the company, met with member of the Lions Club Wednesday and member of the city council to discuss the possibility of piping natural gas to Canton.

According to Mr. Hulcy the City of Canton has more than a sufficient amount of customers to justify such a move of his company.  He stated that Lone star has completed its survey of the city. A guarantee of 250 customers is being asked by this concern.  Completion of the work would be complete in August if it is not delayed by a scarcity of materials. (Unreadable)  Ten dollars will be asked as a deposit when a customer makes an application for natural gas.
