A little change goes a long way

Memorials for the Van Zandt County Library continue to be an important way to honor a loved one and give continued support in their memory.  Recent memorials were received from David and Susie Pulley for Erlene Counts and Theresa Leftwich and from Cary and Sandy Hilliard for Grace Cannaday.  Books, newspapers, and magazines are purchased with these gifts.

Oops!  The Library is on limited use for the month of March.  The copy machine, some computers and a limited book selection will be available in the Buchanan Room.

The Library of Genealogy and Local History is not affected by this closing, so this is a good opportunity to visit them in the Courthouse annex and find out what goes on there.   There are helpful people available to assist you.   Their phone number is 903-567-5012 and it is listed under Van Zandt County offices.  They are open every day.  Ask them about their March meeting place.

There is a lot going on at the Van Zandt County Library.   Ask how you can help; put on your work clothes and show up.

The staff appreciates your patience.  The “Friends” do, too.
