The Canton Texas Chamber of Commerce Community Awards Dinner was held April 21 at the Canton Civic Center.
“A Night in Disguise,” was the theme of the dinner with over 380 attendees and county figureheads donning masks and dressing in their best to honor those who have made a mark in Canton.
“I think this year’s event went very well and people had a good time with the theme. I would like to thank everyone who worked so hard to pull off this incredible event, especially our decoration committee.
“I am also very thankful to be in a community where local businesses support their chamber to this extent,” said Community Awards Dinner Chair
Stephanie Smith.
David Barber of the Canton Herald was the Master of Ceremonies for the event. The 33- year veteran at Canton Herald, past board member and chairman of the Canton Chamber, Barber did an outstanding job, chamber officials said.
