Trinity Mother Frances joining with Christus Health

New organization to expand access to care in East Texas

Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics and Christus Health have announced the finalization of an agreement that brings together these two health systems and will create Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System.

According to information from the organization, “this joining of two distinguished health systems will greatly strengthen both organizations, improving access to care for patients and expanding each organization’s service offerings. Most importantly, it will increase the capacity and ability to meet the ever-growing healthcare needs of East Texans through increased resources and innovative services.”

Christus Trinity Mother Frances will remain headquartered in Tyler, and will continue to be a hub for services and the foundation of Christus Health’s expansion in Northeast Texas, officials said.

“We pride ourselves on our commitment to bringing the best patient care and services to East Texas. This has been an integral part of Trinity Mother Frances' mission as a faith-based health provider for more than 75 years, and we will continue to realize that vision for East Texas for years to come as Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System,” said Lindsey Bradley, FACHE, senior vice president – Group Operations for Christus Health and Chief Executive Officer of Christus Northeast Texas.

“An alliance with Christus Health allows us to build upon the foundation set forth by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth many years ago with a partner that shares our faith-based values and dedication to quality care. We will not only continue to serve the people of East Texas diligently, but expand access to the highest quality healthcare as East Texans have come to expect.”
