Deadline nears for East Texas mobility survey
People living in the 14 counties of East Texas have until July 30 to complete a survey online for the East Texas Council of Governments and be entered into a drawing for one of four $50 VISA gift cards.
The survey has to do with improving mobility throughout the region.
The affected counties include Anderson, Camp, Cherokee, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Marion, Panola, Rains, Rusk, Smith, Upshur, Van Zandt and Wood.
The project is an update of the East Texas Council of
Government’s Regionally Coordinated Transportation Plan completed in 2011.
“Participating in the current project is as easy as one, two, three: 1 – Visit this project’s website to follow the project’s progress. www.EasTexConnects.com; 2 – Complete a short online survey regarding your current travel needs and preferences; 3 – Attend one of 14 community meetings to be held in late July,” ETCOG officials said.
