Intermediate school sets start of school dates

All students coming from other districts who did not attend Canton Intermediate School (third, Fourth and fifth grades) may be registered at the intermediate school between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. starting Aug. 1.
Students new to CIS must have a birth certificate, social security card, a current immunization record and proof of residency. If possible, a current report card is also needed.
Classroom assignments for CIS will be posted at 4 p.m. Aug. 5.
CIS starting time is 8 a.m. and classes are released at 3:12 p.m.
The school’s Meet the Teacher Night will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 11.
