Services for Mr. C.R. “Reese” Earl were held Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp with Mr. Jim Eubanks officiating.
Interment followed the service at Morrow Chapel Cemetery in Ola.
Mr. Earl was born Oct. 22, 1936, in Myrtle Springs to parents Lester and Vera Agnus (Clay) Earl and entered into eternal rest on Aug. 26, 2016, at the age of 79. He loved his family dearly. He enjoyed watching western movies; especially John Wayne. He loved horses and was an honorary member of East Texas Riders. He owned and operated his own heating and air conditioning business since he was 18 years old. He was a member of Ola Church of Christ. He was a kind and loving man who will be missed tremendously by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mavis Earl; brothers, Jimmy Boyd, Homer Glenn and Clarence Wendell and nephew Wendell Gene.
He is survived by his daughters, Teresa L. May of Talty, Terry A. Wacasey and husband Roy of Mt. Pleasant and Veronica K. Gunderson and husband Mark of Eustace; son, Leslie Reese Earl and wife DeAnna of Kemp; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild on the way; nephews; Clyde Earl of Wills Point, Jason Earl of Fruitvale and Clarence Earl of Grand Saline; niece, Mary Earl of Wills Point; dear friend of 50 plus years, Joyce May and family of Mesquite; other loving family members and many more friends.
