Kneeling Soldier to be unveiled
Nov 12, 2016, will be a very exciting day in Canton at the Van Zandt County Veterans Memorial. So please mark your calendars and come help us celebrate during a Memorial Dedication.
The Van Zandt County Veterans Memorial will be having a Memorial Dedication and presentation of the Kneeling Soldier Statue.
The program will begin at 10 a.m. and some chairs will be provided. However, feel free to bring your own to ensure a seat to enjoy the program.
The Kneeling Soldier will finally be home to its place on the pedestal in the Memorial. It is in the final process of bronzing and will be there for all to see and admire. Many fundraisers and many donations have made the project become a reality.
Van Zandt County will have another Veterans Memorial that shows their love and support for our Veterans.
