Dragons and fire come to Storytime

Books read during Storytime at VZC Library included ‘I Want to be a Firefighter” that tells of different kinds of equipment that the firefighters use. “Fire Trucks” that shows pictures of the trucks, hoses and ladders used by firemen, “ No Dragons for Tea” is about fire safety for kids and includes a dragon that sneezes and starts a fire in the kitchen during tea with a little girl. They both learn what to do in the case of a fire and “Stop Drop and Roll” about what to do in the case of a fire emergency. The library will be closed next Friday for Veterans Day so the next Storytime will be on Nov. 18. Come and join Ms. Rhonda at 10 a.m. at the Van Zandt County Library, 317 First Monday Lane, Canton.
