Reindeer spotted at VZC Library Storytime

Christmas was the theme for Storytime at the Van Zandt County Library on Friday, Dec. 2. Ms. Rhonda read several stories, one titled “What Could be Keeping Santa?” a story to be read on the day before Christmas that tells of the Reindeer worrying about Santa being late when actually they are one day early. Next was “Willy the Texas Longhorn” written by Alan C Elliott, a Texas author. The story line features a Texas Longhorn who dreams of guiding Santa’s sleigh on Christmas. With the help of Santa’s magic dust and horns painted glow-in-the-dark blue, Willy’s dream comes true. The craft was a headband with reindeer antlers.
