Whether its sharing a slice of a pizza or giving to children, 3D’s Pizza and Wings in Canton is serving up blessings this year.

T.J. Weinrich has been a Canton resident for six years, and is also the owner of 3D’s Pizza and Wings on the downtown square in Canton.

Along with serving up hundreds of pizzas a month, Weinrich also orchestrated a plan to provide Christmas gifts to children in Van Zandt County.

Weinrich said he saw a need, a need to serve “awesome” pizza and to encourage people to donate Christmas gifts to receive a discount off their order.

Weinrich offered a 10 percent discount on all orders placed at 3D’s Pizza if customers brought in a toy for a child.

“I posted on Facebook for people to bring in a toy for children and get 10 percent off their whole order. The people came in and brought presents. I contacted Manna to tell them that we had gathered some presents for children to donate to those families who needed help this Christmas.  I wanted to make sure that the kids got a good Christmas. A lot of people came in and donated money also. “

Weinrich said that sharing your blessings with others is “what Christmas is all about,” and plans to continue the toy drive next year.
