Christmas party held at St. Justin’s Church

The Women of St. Justin’s Episcopal Church held their annual Christmas party Dec. 14. Twelve women attended, including Janet Davis, Martha Mitchell, Marion Pelton, Linda Godwin, Sherry Northcutt, Janie Cobun, Lauren Curry. Not pictured, Trudy Tidwell, Kathy Foley, Carolyn Davis, Jan Grider, and Pam Studenny. 
“The Christmas party began with the blessing of the food by Linda Godwin.  Everyone sampled the array of food and drink provided.  After enjoying the food, drink and Christian fellowship the meeting was called to order by President Janet Davis.  She began the meeting with the opening prayer.  After businesses was concluded, new officers were elected for 2017.Elected were, President Janet Davis,  Vice President Trudy Tidwell, Secretary Pam Studenny  and Treasurer Sherry Northcutt
After the meeting the gift exchange began. After the gift exchange Linda Godwin read a Christmas question game.  Linda would ask unique Christmas related questions and members participated by trying to answer the questions,” a spokesperson for the group said.
The next meeting will be held in February.
