State Rep. Flynn ‘excited’ about legislative session
Jan. 10 marked the beginning of the 85th legislative session for the Texas Legislature and State Representative Dan Flynn said he would continue to push for legislation that would embody faith, family and freedom.
"I am excited about the opportunity to continue the direction of Texas as a leader for faith family and freedom. My number one priority this session is American law on American soil," said Flynn. This is Representative Flynn's 8th session representing East Texas and the interests of all Texans in important conservative values that he has reinforced in previous sessions of the legislature.
Representative Flynn has pre-filed a number of bills, including House Bill 45 that establishes the superiority of American law within the borders of the American nation. The bill will void all foreign laws within state and territorial borders unless they align with the laws and rights given under the Constitution of the United States. The state of the Dallas and Houston Pensions fund are also a priority for Representative Flynn, he has filed and supports legislation seeking to aid the effort in fixing the police and firefighters pension funds. Texas citizen's 2nd Amendment rights also continue to be a priority for Representative Flynn. In filing House Bill 56 he hopes to extend 2nd Amendment rights to our first responders while engaged in the discharge of their duties.
