Canton TEA Party news

The Canton TEA Party will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12 at the Canton at the Church of Christ, 805 Big Rock St.
The guest speaker will be Canton ISD Superintendent Jay Tullos.  Tullos will discuss school choice or vouchers  as being one of the major issues being considered in the 85th legislature.
The group will meet again March 6, (the first Monday of the month) due to guest speaker Dr. Steinlight, a senior policy analyst at the Center for Immigration Studies in Washington, D.C.  Steinlight will cover the topic of the Tyler Grassroots.  Steinlight is a nationally-known speaker.
During the April 10 meeting, the guest speaker will be Alice Linahan with  Women on the Wall, a grassroots organization on education.
