A private memorial service will be held at a later date for Donna Kay Dandridge, 53, of Chandler, Miss. Dandridge was born May 2, 1963, and passed away Jan. 21, 2017.

In lieu of burial, her wishes were that her remains be placed on her favorite mountain in Wyoming.

She was raised in Canton by her mother, Patricia Patrick Paris and stepfather, Ed Paris, and attended Canton High School. She lived in Canton and Arkansas before moving to Wyoming to be near her brother, Richard. She later returned to Chandler.

She enjoyed cooking, and arts and crafts. She was very family oriented and spent most of her time with her family. She loved spoiling her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Ed Paris.

Survivors include her mother, Pat Paris; children, Jason, Jill, and Leah Furr; siblings, Ronnie Patrick, Richard Dandridge, and Lanie Paris; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Bluehaven Pools in Tyler for their help through this difficult time and to friends for their love and support.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the ASPCA or your local animal shelter “in remembrance of Kay Dandridge.” As her brother Richard said “she is flying high now with many more awesome Angels; rest in peace my dear sister.”
